Last spring, the administration at UCSD wrote a revised speech policy for UCSD which included many restrictions and continued many obstructive systems. Student demonstrations as well as letters from organizations like FIRE (Freedom and Individual Rights in Education) and the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) forced the administration to delay acceptance of the policy. Since then students have been working on a revision to the Free Speech Policy Now Available HERE
